Driving School and Other Exciting Things

Saturday, I am off to defensive driving class, because I obviously need some help in that way, and one less point on my license.   🙂    Who would have thought that I once taught driving instruction to impressionable young children.

The lesson I have learned:   do not drive behind anyone.  Ever.    I have seen too many crashes lately (not all my own, thank you) where even the 2-second rule fails miserably.    Keep your eyes on the road.   Give people space.  Stop being in a hurry to get somewhere.   Enjoy life, for God’s sake.    So you get a little extra time with the radio in the morning or afternoon.   It’s a good thing.

It is darned cold in this part of the world.   While parts of the world are flooding, this part is all snowy and -13F windchill (soon to be colder, I’m sure).   All the more reason for a warm fire, I say, and not going outside.    I always forget (always) that 地址一地址二地址三 is not the cold month.  If 地址一地址二地址三 seems cold, just wait until January and 我被六个男人躁到早上.

Brr…    This is where a trip to the beach and a nice margarita in hand sound really, really good!

  1. The margarita sounds good, but I’m not sure about the beach at this time of year. Oh, did you mean a tropical beach? That would work for me. 🙂

  2. Top tips/points to make Tin Box transportation marginally enjoyable…

Tip one… NEVER indicate at junctions… Keep them guessing!

Tip two… If your Driving a Company Car, just hit anybody that dares to cut you up… Who cares :O)(No I mean aim straight for them, dont slow down at all and watch the fear in their face when they suddenly realease they’ve got to panic :O) )

Tip three… NEVER EVER give way, let it or be nice to a BWM driver… (He already thinks he owns the road, don’t encourage this belief..)

    OK… I won’t continue… I’d be here all day…

  4. Too often, when riding my motorcycle, the cars that have cut me off are the expensive ones.. so far, 2 Lexus and 1 Mercedes.

Anymore, when I see someone driving fast on the interstate, especially when it’s snowing, I cringe.

  5. Fast = anything faster than the speed limit. Believe me… I have been one of those people to speed on the Interstate.. jut in and out of traffic safely. Lately, not so much on either count.
