First Ice Skating Purchase

I made my first ice skating-related purchase today. $17 for a pair of warm tights. The Little Kid was using her regular winter tights, but the color cream can only take so much of a beating before they look dirty and ragged.

She did very good during her skating lesson tonight. The snowplow is pretty much mastered, and they’re off to gliding now.

During the free skate, the Russian expert skating guy had to come out to the floor because she was trying to spin and fell down.. wouldn’t get back up. It was pretty much the art of drama. She’s perfectly fine.

We’re thinking about used skates now. The rink skates are in pretty bad shape.
