About Me

I was born in Peoria, IL, and although I lived most of my life (so far) in Omaha, NE, I still need an “out” in case Omaha does something silly.   So I will always consider myself an Illinoisan.  Now, just to mix things up a bit, I’ve moved to Texas to enjoy some warmer weather an my family.

I spend all day doing a little bit of just about everything with computers, after spending time with my amazing daughter, our slightly ornery but loving dogs and my lovely husband.

I love baking, especially when it involves learning new recipes. I enjoy drawing with colored pencils (artist pencils, that is). I obsess about some television, like The Bachelorette, Grey’s Anatomy other miscellany. In my spare time, I like to poke into Photoshop, HTML, CSS and some PHP and create things. I also draw with colored pencils and read, when my attention span allows.  My passion is taking pictures to document our lives as a family.

It takes extra effort not to lament about the past. But I’m making great strides to focus on the lovliness of today and comtemplate what’s next in my life.
