Well, here you are.. nearly 15. I won’t say time flies or “where has the time gone”. I have taken time to watch you grow and I’ve enjoyed every minute of the last 15 years, every milestone, every accomplishment, everything. Even the not-so-great days, like the day that you “skipped school” last year, even though you were at school. 🙂 That was a minor blip, although it seemed not-so great at the time.
Look at you! I say so often that you’re so awesome, and you totally are. You’re everything I would have asked for: Sweet, compassionate, a bit edgy, smart, beautiful, talented. You say what you think, and you love, and you push through when you need to overcome. I’m so proud every day. Every day!
When you hold your own child, everything changes. In the beginning, there are many hopes and dreams, wanting your child to be healthy. There are also, “what will she be like”, moments. What will her personality be? What things will she like to do? How will she face adversity. I never doubted for a minute that you would be the amazing person that you are. I could tell everything by looking in your eyes. You had that, “I’m going to be something, and I won’t be afraid to be whatever I aspire to in life”, look. No matter what, you want things and you go for them. You have no barriers.
I just wanted to say that I love you so much. Thank you for being you. You’re so amazing. ❤
