Week off

and it’s nice. Today’s temperature is supposed to be 71, which feels springlike (hey, the 80F’s are just around the corner).

I have bypassed “new hire week”, wherein I train new hires. I like training people, but it’s nice to have one break in.. I don’t know… 5 years?

I took Miss Brit shopping for new shoes, since her old ones are breaking down internally. We found some nice toners (her pick) at Kohl’s for $29.99. I was a little annoyed that I didn’t have a % off coupon, and no scratch cards were at the store, but the price was pretty good anyway (considering the first shoe she spotted was over $60.)

I am making donuts. (yay)
Yesterday, I helped Brit make chocolate chip/butterscotch chip cookies. She did a good job.

So overall, a good day. 🙂
