So, when I got the notice from Payroll saying I had 157 hours of vacation time to spend before the end of June, I thought, “Yeah.. I haven’t taken much time off in the last 8 months, have I?” I arranged for some time off here and there, which means I have a 4 day weekend. (yay!)
I turned my blackberry off yesterday to avoid peeking at work things, and did 3 loads of laundry, met Brit for lunch at school (where we dined on ravioli), did a bit of minor shopping, and cleaned parts of the apartment. It feels good to accomplish something, really.
Today we’re off to swimming lessons. Brit has a new pair of goggles which are identical to her prescription eyeglasses. She is excited to be able to see underwater. 🙂 They were only $20 goggles, too. Get your own at speedo.com (of course, if your eyes don’t match, then you are out of luck) 🙂
