Biscuits

I found this link on Wikipedia that talks about the difference between English biscuits and American biscuits.   While I was in England, I made chocolate chip and walnut biscuits.  I had to chop up my own chocolate, because we could not find chocolate chips anywhere.

In America, I made biscuits and gravy, which is very high in calories, but also really good to have for breakfast here and there.

The link will tell you all about it.   Most English people I’ve met are appalled to hear “biscuits” and “gravy” so close together in the same sentence.   🙂

By the way, the photo of American biscuits and gravy isn’t very good.  That appears to be a drop biscuit, where I’d prefer the biscuits in the “American biscuits and honey” photo.
