1. I much prefer the acoustic version to the original. Being backed by Mark Knopfler doesn’t hurt.

   My favorite Clapton track is “Key to the Highway” from “Layla and Other Love Songs.”

   BTW, Knopfler’s “Brothers in Arms” is a pretty good track too.

2. I know what you mean about the acoustic vs. the original. I pulled up the original by accident and I didn’t even recognize it (or like it). The acoustic is the way to know.

   I remember the “Sultans of Swing” 🙂 Good stuff.
