Good things are coming around the corner. I’m ready for change. I’m ready for trust and reliability and fun and just “getting it”, where life is concerned. Couple-ness. Working toward a goal where “WE” are the goal and being excited to grab for the brass ring.
There are times when he scoops me up in the safety of his arms, even from remote, and whatever is going on in the rest of the world falls away into incoherent drivel.
There are moments when I am silently struggling with the meaning of life, or something on a smaller scale, and a note arrives, unprompted, saying he feels lucky to have me in his life, and I know the sincerity drips from his words.
He believes in love, being there, sharing more than words can share, being concerned, insightful, attempting to keep me on the right path; the one which makes sense. Thank you for that. I love you.
Lisa’s tips to get through tomorrow:
1. Put your heart into what you’re doing, or find something you can put your heart into.
2. Think positively about tomorrow; put yesterday in a box and seal it up with duct tape.
3. Call your family
4. Hope for the best thing you can think of to happen. If it doesn’t. make it happen.
5. Love, love, love who is in your life and what you are accomplishing by knowing these people.

A flower-seller was packing up at the end of a day’s trading. A man walked up to him and pointed to one of the boxes the flower-seller had put to one side containing unsold plants ready to throw out.
“I’d like that yellow flower please” said the man.
“Oh no Sir, those are flowers I am going to throw away, why don’t you have this orchid. It is one of my best flowers and it has a fragrance which is quite beyond compare”.
“No thank you” said the man “I’d like the yellow flower”.
Said the flower-seller: “please Sir, I have so many lovely flowers, bright ones, vibrant ones, many-headed and rare blooms. Why not have one of those”.
“No thank you” said the man, “I’d like the yellow flower, here, take my money”.
The flower seller shook his head and took the man’s money and handed him the flower.
“Tell me” said the flower seller as he gave the man his change “why this flower?”
“Well” said the man “it is true that there are many lovely flowers on your stall and I admire them for their beauty and I can see their fragrance is considered by many to be beyond compare but this flower is exactly the right flower for me. I saw it and knew immediately that none of the other flowers have its particular charm. I think it quite perfect and unlike any of the other flowers on your stall. It has a fragrance that I find more delightful than any of the other blooms you are selling and in comparison they are weeds that wither in the mind’s eye. You are an expert flower-seller and I admire you for your industry in wishing to offer me what you consider to be the best of the flowers you have but you see I have a rare gift that money cannot buy and man cannot learn: I know how to find true happiness when I see it and this flower makes me happy and for this reason is worth more than all of the others”.
