Ok the fish and chips (and mushy peas ?) I recognise as food but what on earth is the stuff above it ?
As I see a scalpel, maybe you’ve slipped in a still from ER or Grays Anatomy. The fork has me puzzled though.

LOL… I almost forgot about this post. This is what I get for posting “ahead in time”. 🙂
The first picture is the best food in the world. It was a roast dinner, courtesy of Punctuation! It consisted of roast pork, parsnips, cauliflower cheese, stuff mushroom (with goat cheese), carrots and roast potato.
It was perfect (and I’m not bragging!)
There were also two nights of morracan chicken (because I loved it so much). Oh, and “Ian’s Pasta”, which I attempt to make, but it doesn’t turn out quite the same.
I did cook breakfast a couple of days. 🙂
And we walked so much that I actually lost 4 pounds (not money) during my trip, despite the fish and chips (and mushy peas).

Love the fish and chips picture :o))
From the chippy I used to get my Nan’s fish and chips from in the 1970s – same guy serving it too!
Edit: That’s better!

I love mushy peas…with vinegar on. Home made mushy peas are a treat too. When some of the sdplit peas are just half-cooked. Oh dear, I’m having a Homer drooling moment, sorry. The roast dinner looks amazing. :o)

Daffy – The roast dinner *was* amazing. 🙂 Mushy peas are really good. I used them to dip my fish and chips into. It was amazing how fast the chippy filled up while we were waiting for fresh fish to be cooked.
Ian – Yes, I know how it must look more complete with the gravy. Yum. 🙂
