Ok, well, it might be apparent that is ME in the bouncey chair. 🙂 We didn’t require extra bobbles and toys mounted around the bouncey chair…. just a tray for snacks. Cheerios, I suspect. 🙂

By the time the seventies came around (i.e. my time), at least in the UK, the chair lay almost flat and had lost the tray. It was adorned with some of the most hideously, un-colour-coordinated patterns imaginable (as was much of everything in the seventies) but boy could that sucker bounce 🙂
Of course, the bouncy chair was no substitute for the cardboard box…
