Remember those USB cables you had to have to hook up between your camera and your PC or laptop? You don’t need those anymore. You just need this card reader instead.
I never saw much of a use for card readers until I had a work laptop with one built in. I had to trade out laptops during the week, and when I wanted to transfer photos, I had no idea where my USB cable might be.
Wal-Mart had this particular one for around $9. It’s small and I can toss it in my purse without having to deal with another lose cable (believe me, I have a few!)
