We are strategically moving our furniture about the house to only the rooms where no new carpet is going. This involves the kitchen, dining room, two bathrooms and the downstairs living room. I think everything will fit, but it’s just getting it there.
My husband is using this opportunity to go through boxes sitting in his closet, unpacked, for 5 years. I am not sure why I glared at him for doing that. It just felt right at the time. 🙂
So, we’ve been 3 or 4 weeks with bare floors and those carpet tacking strips bare along the wall. Gotta watch where you walk, and not only the humans, but also the dogs. Hopefully, they haven’t been stabbed too much.
