My daughter asked me to cast her rod for her. I pushed the button and casted out. Then I neglected to hang onto the rod, which then landed in the lake. It was within arm’s reach, so I was able to retrieve it by leaning out of the boat and grabbing it.
And of course we laughed about it for a good 10 minutes.
