My weekend…

… was mostly uneventful. For a little while, we went motorcycle riding. We went to the Harley shop, and then back home. It was hot all weekend.. in the upper 90’s, to be somewhat exact.

Our fishing boat has been gutted and reworked to be leak proof. I wasn’t too worried about leaking, but my spouse was. I guess it would be bad for us to sink in the middle of the lake. So we took the boat out on the lake to make sure it was as water tight as we suspected. Just a few spots to patch, and it was ready for the water again.

I had to buy snacks and something to drink for 54 girl scouts. I bought pre-packaged cookies and 4 gallons of “orange drink”, cause it was on sale. 🙂 There will be 54 sugar-energized girls tomorrow afternoon. At least I am only taking one of them home.

We are seriously considering enrolling The Little Kid in skating school. Remember a month ago when I was terrified of her going ice skating? Well, she likes it, so lessons seem like a good idea. Good luck finding skates in the middle of July, though.

Oh, I saw a good movie this weekend. It’s called, “Deja Vu” with Denzel Washington. If you like suspense with a little scifi, you should check it out.
