While in Hobby Lobby today, I noticed a collection called “A Tree For Me”. There were miniature artificial trees, tiny ornaments and little stars to put on top.
I couldn’t resist. I picked out some dog and cat ornaments, since the little kid is an animal person, and a few other things. The picture below is a result of our decorating.
We have not put up our real tree yet, but we have this one. The little kid is keeping it in her room.
I think we just created a “tradition”. Her face when she took the items out of the bag for “my own tree”?
Priceless.

What a great idea! Of course it’s too late for my “little one” who is in his 20’s now, but what a super idea for the younger ones!

It’s not a bad idea for a little decoration in the house, either. Maybe something for an end table or a section of your kitchen counter.
