I was laying in bed flipping through channels this morning and landed on this show where a designer was taking his clients shopping for new bedding. Their current bedroom is all WHITE, and they were trying to introduce new color to the room.
The woman wanted a lot of color. She found an ensemble she liked. The man said, “I couldn’t live with that!”
Ok… there are a lot of live or die issues in the world. A bedspread is not one of them.
Sometimes, it amazes me what people put so much effort into. I guess travelling around town with a home health professional and seeing inside some of the rougher houses in town kind of changed my outlook on things.

Seeing how other less fortunate people live does help put things in perspective. Sometimes people forget how lucky they are until they see other people’s worlds.

I would not put much into choosing my linens, but I would speak up if I were faced with a set that would make me dizzy and nauseous daily.
