Really. My husband signed me up to take a class next year, and they had a couple of cancellations, so I’m in. I was surprised to hear how intensive the training was, really. It involves 3 hours of classroom training on two days during the week, then 8 – 5 riding on both days of the weekend.
I’ll be taking a written and a riding test, then I can go to the county and get my license, if I want.
My mom is probably going to kick my butt.
Just dont get me started on this one ;o)Ciao Ciao

Over here in Blighty we use Motorbikes all the time, day in day out in an attempt to beat the stupidly high levels of traffic congestion and to cut travel (fuel) expenses, not just only for the occasional weekend ‘Jolly’…But the government has decided that motorbikes are far far to dangerous to actually ride! So in an attempt to curb the amount of new motorcyclist on the road, England now has the most difficult motorcycle riding test in the World. And this is only going to get worse, in 2 years time they’re phasing in a virtually impossible to pass test.Doesn’t sit right with me… As it the Car driver usually at fault in any motorbike/car collision because ‘They didn’t see the Bike’, why aren’t we re-training them instead of the taking it out on Bikers?Ahhh Well…Ciao Ciao

That doesn’t make too much sense. Seems like a few TV commercials and some billboards would be a better course of action. Do they do that sort of public service/safety stuff in the UK?
