Microsoft is launching it’s own personal mp3 player. The player will allow music sharing between Zunes, with a limit of 3 plays per share, then the shared music disappears.
The Zune has a large screen, prepared to play movies, it seems. Will it use the Windows Media Player? Sounds like a definite Microsoft engineering practice… make new things that incorporate our current technology. This may not be a bad thing.
The part I find interesting is this:
As part of the Zune launch Microsoft flew some influential music bloggers to Seattle for a preview of the player and the service.
How do I get in on this sort of thing? I want to be flown to the Bahamas to review the Alantis Resort. I will become your biggest fan, I swear!
