Tan – No.. it’s more of a buddhist approach to calming stress. Basically, it teaches you to focus on your immediate surroundings to take your attention away from what is stressing you out.

I think this might be a valuable thing to add to my iPod when I attempt to go on really high “ferris wheels” … or parasailing.

Tan – I rented “The Power of Now” as an audio book from the library. It’s a good guide for refocusing.

IP – Completely true. I think happiness lies in “the now” and the future is in our own hands. We just have to reach for it and go..

Ian – I could see where you would think the ATM could accomplish whatever the teller had to do, but it’s nice to talk a live person. The teller checks my math, where the ATM machine couldn’t care less. 🙂

Dave – I’m agree. Have you ever read, “The Power of Now”. Good book.
