My Toshiba works perfect now. I removed keyboard and disconnected all ribbon cables and reinstalled them. Must have been a loose connection. No parts were required. If you feel confident in your ability to disassemble your laptop, search for step-by-step instructions on the internet. Good luck.

You know that special keyboard area off to the side with the DVD play buttons? Something is wrong with it. A toshiba repair place needs to take a look at it.

i have the same problem with my laptop that you identified on Sunday, 1 April, 2007 at 3:27 am in your blog. do you recall the exact problem that caused the nbcz thing and full screen mode. i would have placed a question mark on that last question, but as you know, i can’t use the shift key.
